While ITV has yet to confirm the official contestants for Celebrity Big Brother, speculation is mounting, with rumored participants including Hollywood star Goldie Hawn, EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer, singer Chesney Hawkes, and drag performer Danny Beard
The return of Celebrity Big Brother is just days away, with a brand-new group of stars getting ready to step into the famous house. Although ITV has yet to confirm the official lineup, speculation is rife about which well-known faces will be taking part when the show kicks off on Monday.
Previous seasons have seen celebrities such as Love Island’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, TV presenter Fern Britton, and music manager Louis Walsh compete, with David Potts emerging as the most recent winner. This year, the rumored cast includes Hollywood legend Goldie Hawn, EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer, singer Chesney Hawkes, and Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd.
Reports also suggest Olympic decathlete Daley Thompson and reality TV personalities Ella Morgan and Chris Hughes could be among those entering the house, alongside drag performer Danny Beard.
Though the official contestants remain unconfirmed, bookmakers have already tipped a likely winner. According to odds from Card Player, Danny Beard is currently the frontrunner at 3/1, followed closely by Chesney Hawkes at 7/2 and Patsy Palmer at 5/1.
Liam Solomon, a spokesperson for Card Player, commented: “As we gear up for the new series, Danny Beard has emerged as the favorite to take home the win. Given their previous success on Britain’s Got Talent and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, we expect them to be a huge hit with viewers.”
Other contenders reportedly in the running include TOWIE’s Ella Rae Wise (7/1), TV presenter Angellica Bell (12/1), and MP Michael Fabricant (20/1). Danny Beard, known for their bold personality and stage presence, has been vocal about their ambitions in television. In an interview with Gay Times in 2022, they shared: “I don’t just want to do reality TV – I want to present. I’d love to have my own show one day.”
A source told The Sun: “Danny is sharp, funny, and incredibly entertaining. They’ll bring a brilliant energy to the house, both for the other contestants and the viewers at home.”
Despite the growing rumors, ITV has remained tight-lipped, with a spokesperson telling Metro: “Any names being mentioned at this stage are purely speculation.”
The upcoming series marks the second season of Celebrity Big Brother since its revival last year, following the success of the Big Brother reboot. AJ Odudu and Will Best will return as hosts, bringing fans all the drama, excitement, and chaos the show is known for.
